Today I will tell you more about my new White Faux Fur Gillet. „Our” story is simple: I started seeing this kind of fur vest everywhere on Instagram and at faculty, from the green ones to the natural ones. I love everything that’s fluffy and I react strangely when I see fluff, with that kind of reaction we all have when we see „SALES” written somewhere! In my wardrobe, I had some fur vests over time, but none so beautiful and white like this one, although subconsciously I wanted one for so long… This is how I started looking for the perfect vest: white, in faux fur, long and affordable.
Everyone asks me if the fur is real. No. No, because I think that the artificial fur can keep you warm in the same way a natural one can, and even more, I hate animal hair. I love animals, but not inside of our houses, because it is not safe to fly their hair back and forth in the air we breath and stick on food, carpets or clothes. That’s why the artificial fur is better… because I won’t chew animal hair when the wind blows and because it leaves me with a clear conscience that no animal has suffered so I can wear it dead on my back.
Secondly, I like the white color, especially worn at the top of my attire. Since when I did sports in the high school and all of us had to wear black pants and white shirt.. since then aI tend to wear blouses, jackets and tops in white. Ultimately, this tendency is a pattern of elegance and simplicity. Moreover, white require special attention and care, because any residue will be seen immediately and clean clothes are worth infinitely more than the firm ones washed once a year. On the other hand, you can wear a white vest over absolutely any color you want and the effect will be the same: wow!
I call it obsession of a season, but not in a negative way. When I say this I mean the Autumn-Winter 16/17 season, because this vest that I’m so proud of, will be worn so often, both in the autumn months we have left and the long winter months that are ahead. For the pictures in this article, I’ve choosen to combine the vest with brown, blue and gold. Wide brimmed hats go well with these fluffy gillets.. but let me tell you something more: gold or golden accessories go well with fluff. Well, they go well with everything, but they look better on fur *hehe*.
Now we reached the practical part: From where we should buy such a MUST-HAVE vest?? From the Internet. You will say that such a Gillet costs a fortune, and I will answer you that you are right. On absolutely all websites I’ve browsed, I found vests from £50 to £100… But as you know, I like to find the best prices for everything! Now I can tell you that my gillet was no more than £20. I found it HERE, on the hottest clothing site in England. I say this because I love their fair prices, their quick shipment by courier and I was much more impressed when I read more about the store. Dresscode24seven is both a real clothing store and a virtual one. Moreover, the real shop in Hornchurch Essex (near London) has a hair studio inside it, making it a One-Stop-Shop. Frankly, I’d really like to go to a place from where I have the chance to walk home a completely different woman! Who would not want to go to the hairdresser while deciding what clothes to buy from the store ?? I would love to, especially when I heard that at Dresscode24seven you can even serve champagne!!
However, I think the main reason why I will visit them when I will go to London, is that I would like very much to get to know the founder Becky and the hairdresser and makeup artist Cara. Bex runs the whole shop, she gethers the stocks, she sends the parcels and she also deals with the media maketing. Cara runs the studio and makes the clients beautiful by arranging their hair and makeup. Such women deserves all the praise. On Instagram, Becky recently said:

Exact așa. În cazul de față, pasiunea mea pentru toamnă se contopește cu inspirația pentru un nou outfit. Ce-i drept, am și puțin ajutor de când am descoperit piesa de îmbrăcăminte care îmi salvează mai nou fiecare ținută…
Vorbesc despre vesta albă, din blană artificială. Povestea „noastră” este simplă: Am început să văd genul acesta de blănuri peste tot pe Instagram și la facultate, de la blănuri verzi la naturale și așa mai desparte. Ador tot ce este pufos, reacționez ciudat când vad puf, cam cu tot atât de multă încântare ca și cum aș vedea undeva scris reduceri! În garderobă am avut mai multe blănuri de-a lungul timpului, însă nici una atât de frumoasă și de albă, deși în subconștient mi-am dorit una de foarte mult timp… Așadar am pornit în căutarea vestei perfecte, adică albă, din blană artificială cu par lung, lungă și la cel mai bun preț.
Toată lumea m-a întrebat dacă este din blană naturală. Nu. Nu, pentru că sunt de părere că la fel de cald îți ține și blana artificială și mai mult, urăsc părul de animale. Iubesc animalele, dar nu în casă, pentru că nu este deloc în regulă să zboare părul lor de colo-colo și să se lipească de mâncare, covoare și haine. Așadar, blana artificială mă scutește de gândul că aș putea mesteca păr de animal când bate vântul și mă lasă cu conștiința împăcată că nici un animal n-a suferit ca să-l pot purta eu mort pe spate.
În al doilea rând, îmi place albul la nebunie, în special purtat în partea de sus a ținutei. De când făceam sport la liceu și trebuia să purtam toți elevii pantaloni negri și tricou alb, cam de pe atunci mi se trage tendința aceasta de a purta bluze, geci și topuri albe. Până la urmă, este un tipar al eleganței și al simplității. Mai mult, albul necesită atenție și îngrijire deosebită, căci orice urmă de murdărie se va vedea imediat, iar hainele curate valorează infinit mai mult decât cele de firmă spălate odată pe an. Pe de altă parte, vesta albă o poți purta peste absolut orice culoare dorești iar efectul va fi același: wow!
O numesc obsesie de-un sezon, însă nu într-un mod negativ. Când spun asta mă refer la sezonul Toamna-Iarna 16/17, căci vesta de care sunt atât de mândră, presimt că va fi purtată foarte des, atât în lunile de toamnă ce ne-au mai rămas, cât și în lunile lungi de iarnă. În pozele din articol, am ales să o combin cu maro, bleumarin și auriu. Pălăriile cu boruri mari merg de minune cu aceste veste pufoase.. dar vă mai spun ceva: accesoriile din aur sau aurii merg de minune cu puful. Ei bine, ele se potrivesc la orice ținută, dar cu puful merg de minune *hihi*.
Și acum am ajuns la partea practică: De unde cumpărăm o astfel de vestă MUST-HAVE?? De pe internet. O să spuneți că o astfel de vestă gillet, adică cu pătrățele din blană, costă o avere, iar eu o să vă răspund că aveți dreptate. Pe absolut toate website-urile pe care le-am răsfoit am găsit veste care sar de 300 de lei și ajung până la 500 de lei. Însă, cum mie îmi place să fac inventarul prețurilor, vă spun că eu pe vesta mea n-am dat mai mult de 180 de lei. Am găsit-o AICI, pe cel mai tare site de îmbrăcăminte din Anglia. Spun asta în cunoștință de cauză, deoarece m-am îndrăgostit de prețurile lor atât de bune, de transportul rapid prin curier și am rămas tare impresionată când am citit mai multe despre magazin. Dresscode24seven este atât un magazin real de haine, cât și unul virtual. Mai mult, magazinul real din Hornchurch Essex (lângă Londra) are și un hair-studio, fiind astfel un One-Stop-Shop. Sincer, chiar aș vrea să intru într-un astfel de loc de unde ai șansa să ieși o cu totul altă femeie! Cine n-ar vrea să meargă la coafor în timp ce se decide ce haine să-și cumpere din magazin?? Eu aș vrea, mai ales când am auzit că cei de la Dresscode24seven te servesc și cu șampanie!!
Totuși, cred că motivul principal pentru care am să-i vizitez când am să merg în Londra, este faptul că tare mult aș vrea să o cunosc pe fondatoarea Becky și pe hair-stilista și makeup-artista Cara. Bex conduce întreg magazinul, face stocurile, se ocupă de media și expediază coletele, iar Cara se ocupă de salon, de părul și de machiajul fetelor. Sincer, astfel de femei merită toate laudele noastre!! Spunea Becky pe Instagram recent:
