The na-kd truth about shopping online in EU

[ezcol_1half]

Today we discuss the naked truth about EU community shopping. Today I’ll tell you why I buy and why I do not buy from Europe, which are the most important things I look at when I choose an online store and what is that I love the most when it comes to shopping.

Since 2007, Romania is part of the European Union, that is 10 years. Through this accession, Romania has changed over time the “rules” on which online commerce operates, through various rules and laws. And changed them for the better. Do you know, for example, that we have the right to return products marketed online without being obliged to give a specific reason within 10 days of receiving the package, right? Well, this is also a consequence of joining the EU community. Thanks to this fact, we can now buy online from other countries much easier than we could have imagined in the past. And yet, since we are still talking about sovereign and independent countries, etc., we can not put an absolute “=” between national and community shopping.

If offering free shipping irrespective of the price of the order or over a certain amount spent, is already a standard of competition in Romania, intra-community online trade has this just as a concept for now. If an online store wants to be successful on the EU market, it must consider offering such a service to its European customers. At least for me.

When I get on an European website, I first scroll down on the page and read their shipping conditions. If it does not provide free shipping, I’m out. End of story. This is competition, and as I decide where my money is going, it goes to those who are willing to minimize their profits to give me extra comfort. At least psychologically, as many stores have the price of shipping included in one way or another in the final sale price of the product. And if we talk about returning, then it is imperative that the store has to offer a nearly free version of it, otherwise I abandon the idea of finalizing an order on that website.

Secondly, if nationally it’s easier to find out more about the status of an online store, outside of our country we have an absolute need to know more, from other online people, about European stores. I mean when I find an online store that attracts me, I’m looking for it on Instagram and go to the “tagged” section to see photos of their products in reality, worn by other people. If the store does not meet this second condition, I abandon the idea of buying from there again.

The third condition is the continued existence of variants to lower the final purchase price. Here I refer to discount coupons or big discounts, often, or even permanent ones. This is the law of the jungle in online: If I spend more time on their website or on Google searching for a discount voucher or coupon code, then I, compared the usual customer, “deserve” a better price. That’s it.

So if after finishing my shopping cart, I don’t have quick free shipping, at least a decent way of return, the certainty that the products are quality ones and a minimum 10% extra discount, I abandon thew order and never come back.

* My personal conditions above are cumulative, not alternative.

So we have come to the part where I want to give you an example that collectively meets my personal circumstances for an extra comfortable shopping experience: NA-KD Fashion.

NA-KD is the Swedish brand and also an online fashion store, that Europeanized themselves and won me as a permanent customer by doing the following:

  1. It offers free DHL shipping (one of the most serious courier services, not Chinese mail or other nonsense) in 3-5 days to the nearest post office and offers express delivery within 1-2 days at home for the sum of of 7.71 euros, also via DHL.
  2. Free Return.
  3. An Instagram profile with over 1.1 MILLION followers and real daily photos of their products.
  4. Very detailed information about their products.
  5. Enormous and permanent discounts if you know where to find them.

Point 5 is interesting, I know. On my blog you will often find information about the current discounts of various stores, and NA-KD is no exception. First, there is a permanent 12% discount if you are a student. Secondly, their collaborations with various bloggers are creating in the online discount vouchers, usually of at least 20% off (1/5 of the final price!). They have created for me a 30% off discount code (almost a third of the price) that I can share with my readers, which is roxirose30. If you use this voucher, over the current discounts on the website, you will also save ≃1/3 of the order price. I hope this will help you, especially in combination with the free shipping and return.

From them. I have 5 products: 3 tops, a pair of black jeans and a coat, made of exceptional quality. I do not know how many shops are still producing (yes, producing, because it’s their own goods) such wool and mohair sweaters and true-quality wool and genuine satin coats… but they certainly do. After I ironed my clothes when they came to me, I fell in love with their quality, which can be noticed from a mile! Or even more…

I want to give you some extra advice for when you’ll buy from them: Buy, however, a smaller size for tops and a larger size for the bottoms, to have your clothes perfect.
