Totul a pornit dintr-o frustrare.
Restul „e can-can” cum s-ar zice.

English
”God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say ‘thank you?’ ” -William Arthur Ward
I do. And I have used a few more to write this article, so I can thank you and ask you something at the same time.
I started to write on this blog 2 years ago in 2014. Back then, I created a free blog on WordPress.com. About that time, I realized that I was not satisfied with the preset themes that were created by others and so I started to code my one self-hosted website. And since then I became gradually grateful to the nearly 900 hours of computer science I attended in high school. Every week I am working on this website because I always found something to change. But I like to do this and it is a real joy when after hours of standing in front of the computer, things turn out exactly as I wanted. I want to give a perfect reading experience for my readers, I want to make them feel good when they access roxirose.com.
It all started out of frustration. The most popular blogs in the world are fashion blogs, 90% of which contain articles consisting in a 3 rows text and then only pictures. There is no wonder that Instagram, Facebook and even in the real life are all full of girls and women like the “Kardashians”, when all the media tends to conspire to achieve this result… So I asked myself “Why? This is how a popular blog looks like? This is what people like to read, two sentences, and other 10 seconds to look rapidly at some pictures of clothing?”No. People read what you offer them to read. Those to whom it was a pleasure to read your article will return, and those who were bored… will also return because subconsciously they will still found it exciting.
There have been people who have asked me how long the creation of an article takes. A day and a half, something like this. Maybe it would take less time if I would do everything superficial, like posting 2-3 pictures from my phone quickly and name the article “Update”; But I “stand” just exactly against this current. I like to pay attention to every detail, from accents, editing the images, to the creation of cover images. And yes, the result is a trade which at first glance seems disadvantageous for me: I offer a day and a half for those 5 minutes that the reader spends on the website. But hoping that he or she can draw lessons and advice from each article, bartering seems worthwhile.
On the other hand, the blog developed me personally, because one day I decided to translate my items in English. I had taken my diploma in English, the Cambridge Advanced C1 in the same year, but… although I had the highest grade at speaking, I had the lowest at writing. I was not decided. But I also said to myself that without practice I won’t manage to perfect myself. I received criticism, I was saddened but somehow I went further. I also fear about my writing even now.. I am not concerned about my spelling mistakes when I write in English, but somehow I feel they are still on track. And perhaps they are, because the most collaborations that I had were foreign.
Recently, I saw that every blogger has an article like “How to make a blog quickly and easily” ?! Everyone gives advice, we are all doctors in blogging, but the truth is that the reader is looking for only one thing: the pair of long-forgotten “sincerity and originality”. Both. Otherwise, any advice you give or read, all blogs will be different, whether they are new or old, some good, some less good. I do not judge them by popularity, followers or other things like that, but by the attention to detail. I appreciate a blog by the “rule of three simple”: accents, academic language and pictures where the woman is dressed. The rest “is can-can” as they say.
The biggest challenge for a blogger is to deal with criticism, is to be able to distinguish the productive critics from the ones that are written out of pure mischief. And another important thing: have patience. A blog increases if the writer gives his attention and time and its endeavor to create quality materials. This means that a blog requires years to grow and to form a base of readers. Blog Roxi Rose hasn’t “exploded” but was constantly growing thanks to its readers. Everything can be viewed from another perspective then: The truth is that you can’t succed with your perfect content if you have no visitors on the website. So what should we do? We continue our adventure in search of perfection and wait for the people to read, people will gather, people will pick up the blog. We can’t just simply separate the two variables, for a blog would not exist without its readers, without its followers, and a writer will not create articles that won’t be read by anyone. So a blog is defined by its articles, but most important, the niche of readers from behind.
And I finally got where I wanted to go from the beginning: Let me be grateful and thank everyone who read the “small works” that I write for pleasure, to thank you, the one that is reading this row right now.
Thank you!
This word implanted in row above is more than enough because it comes from the heart! Believe me.
There is no official top of the best blogs or on the contrary, there are too many and too varied. But in Romania, for several years as I understand, Digital Divas gather some efforts to organize a national conference of fashion and beauty within which the the best blogs created by women in various categories are awarded. I’m nominated in this contest and I am quite happy about this! I’m happy when I see that there are people who read (with pleasure maybe) the things that I write… And the truth is that I wish wholeheartedly to win, so I can prove that the Romanian language is appreciated and is not lost yet, so I can proove that dirty pictures won’t make a lady popular, so I can prove there are still people who read. I want to bring Timisoara in these tops and once I bring it there, to make it feel proud of this thing.
So, I have nothing left to say but to ask you to press the button below and vote this blog in the Digital Divas 2016 contest. Vote Frumusete si Putere. O poveste pe 4 roti despre femeia de azi at the Special Projects by Bloggers category and vote ROXI ROSE on all other categories (Fashion Blog Best Newcomer, Best Use of Photography, Best Instagram Acount, People’s Choice). So… if you want to vote for me, thank you!
